KOS overflow weir
Easy waterlevel management with a spindle overflow weir. Maintain the level by handforce or actuator and level the water within acuracy of a millimeter. Turn you watersystem into a robust system.
The purpose of an overflow weir is to maintain the upstream water level. With a rotating movement it is possible to adjust the height of the weir plate, excess water will flow over the weir downstream.
The weir plate moves vertical up and down inside the frame, there is no need for length so it can be fitted in to tight spaces.
With an actuator, like an Auma / Rotork or Compact, in combination with level sensors it is possible to automate the process.
KWT delivers the following models:
- KOS-I overflow weir with a single spindle.
- KOS-II overflow weir with double spindles, for wider weirs and lower force transmission.
- DKOS a double weir plate in a single frame, the bottom plate rises to make flush flowing possible, the top weir acts as an overflow weir and lowers in front of the bottom weir plate
General purpose use of the weir plates: surface water, wastewater, sewage systems and WWTP.
We make our overflow weirs from grade A stainless steel 316L wst 1.4401.
Upon request, we can produce with stainless steel 304 or SuperDuplex.
For guiding of the stainless steel weir plate and frame, we use HDPE and the sealant is EPDM.
