Consequences caused by the failure of a flood defense can be enormous,
whether it would occur in a dike passage or another flood defense situation.

For these specific and rather high-risk applications, KWT has developed a special penstock for its product range, the KSA-RA.

The KSA-RA is the latest model of wall valves developed by KWT. Designed entirely in accordance with the current standards, with very high production control (FPC) and also with a short delivery time! It is a perfect model, made entirely of stainless steel and applicable for water pressures up to 5.5 meters of water column*. In the Netherlands, this means that this product is suited for virtually every regional flood defense application. Due to the clever use of the rubber, this penstock can also be used to regulate flow rates. The mounting procedures for this product have been made very practical and the product can always be delivered with an accompanying complete set of mounting materials.

The square passage of this product makes it suitable for closing off both round and rectangular passages. The new robust version of the bronze spindle nut requires even less maintenance. This type of penstock can optionally be provided with a rising stem or a nut outside the medium.

The KSA-RA is available in stock at KWT. This for the standard square dimensions up to and including 1000 x 1000 mm, in accordance with 1090-2 – EXC-2.
