KKS Tilting weir
A tilting weir is intended to maintain waterlevels on the height water side.
With a rotating motion, it is possible to adjust the position of the weir, the excess water will flow over the weir.

Due to the very rigid design, the KWT KKS Tilting Weirs can be either applied for water level control or block large quantities of water and release these as fast as possible in case of a calamity. The tilting weirs can be to operate by means of an actuator, spindle driver or by hand.
The KKS is KWT’s standardized tilting weir in stainless steel. This industry standard tilting weir can be manually operated, or by actuator with manual override. Up to a weir width of 2000 mm and a side cheek height of 1300 mm the KKS tilting weir is chain driven. Larger sizes will be driven by rack and pinion. The latter is adjustable and can be easily replaced. The weir is built into a concrete or wooden structure and is being used in both sewage and surface applications. Up to 2000×1300 mm as standard KKS in a modular system; its dimensions can be taken from the previous table. Other larger bespoke sizes on request.
We can produce your KKS tilting weir both in stainless steel 304 or 316L.
